Our hearing services

A Proven Method

At A Better Ear we use the proven method of hearing rehabilitation called family-centred care. It takes the best clinical standards of testing and fitting and puts them in service to you, a unique person with unique experiences. This way hearing rehabilitation becomes a shared journey, where the clinician explores the hearing needs of the patient from a socially integrated perspective.

The fact is that hearing loss can erode social connections, reduce self-confidence, and create barriers between you and those who give your life quality and meaning. By developing shared hearing goals, and giving you genuine support, we help you regain your place as a valued and confident member of the conversation. That is why we always encourage patients to bring a friend or family member with them to the appointment.

As a trusted provider of the Australian Government Hearing Services Program we provide subsidised services to approved pensioners and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) card holders.
